Increase in Residential Burglaries.

Recently within the South East Borough there has been an increase in residential burglaries particularly targeting car keys for high value cars. On occasion’s it has been a case that people have left keys etc on tables next to the front doors.

We urge residents to safely store car keys out of view and away from doors and windows. If you have a keyless car , we highly recommend a Faraday box/pouch to keep the key in but again this should also be left out of view.
